Kangarilla have pulled off an upset victory over fierce rival Clarendon with a tight 32-30 win in round two action of the Southern Hills Netball Association. Kangarilla failed to win a game last season while Clarendon are the reigning premier, however the tables have been turned after two rounds in 2020 with Kangies undefeated and Clarendon yet to win a game. Last year's runners-up, Pulse took to the courts for the first time in 2020 and had a comfortable 45-22 win over Noarlunga. After a tight opening quarter which saw Pulse lead by just one goal, the home side pulled away over the final three quarters to record a 23-goal win. Aldinga had the bye in round two.

In A2 competition, Croweaters made it two from two this season with a 33-24 victory over Clarendon, Port Noarlunga registered their first victory of the season with a 33-25 win against local rival Noarlunga while Seaford Storm also remained undefeated with a 40-33 triumph over Aldinga.
