Willunga repair café started operations in February and will be open again today, Saturday 1 March at the Willunga Show Hall.

It make free repairs on small domestic items such as clothing, small electrical appliances, punctures, crockery, toys and gardening equipment, depending on the skills available on the day. 

This community initiative also helps people learn new repair skills while giving their items a second life.

It’s a great way to meet like-minded folks who are passionate about sustainability while saving money, learning new skills and keeping items out of landfill.

Run by a group of dedicated volunteers, under the aegis of Sustainable Onkaparinga, the café operates on the first Saturday of every month from 1pm to 4pm.
