Prolific and popular author Rachael Johns will speak about her latest novel at the Victor Harbor library next Monday 7 November.
The Work Wives delves into the relationship between colleagues Debra and Quinn, who have each other’s backs at work, but don’t seem to have much else in common.
Deb is a single mum who has sworn off men, while Quinn is addicted to dating apps.
The arrival of a new man in the office sets off a chain of events that makes them question how well they really know each other and forces a choice between friends, love and family.
Rachael Johns won an Australian Book Industry Award for her novel The Patterson Girls and is well known for her contemporary relationship stories around women's issues, a genre she has coined ‘life-lit'.
She will be at the library from 6pm to 7.30pm to talk about her books and answer reader questions.
South Seas Book and Trading will have copies of her novel for purchase and signing on the night.
