A driver will face court after being caught nearly six times the legal limit Friday night.

About 9pm Friday 26 September, police stopped a Hyundai hatchback on Kalimna Walk, Morphett Vale and the driver underwent a breath test, returning a result of 0.285.

The 50-year-old woman from Old Reynella was reported for drink driving and issued with 12 month instant loss of licence.

Her car was impounded for 28 days.
