Southern District detectives have arrested a man over child sex offences.

The 40-year-old from the southern suburbs was arrested last night (Tuesday 25 July) and charged with unlawful sexual intercourse.

It will be alleged that the victim was under the age of 18.

The man was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 31 August.
