Sow. Grow. Eat. Repeat! at the Victor Harbor Library is well underway for 2023 and the first week of February will see two free events.

The Fleurieu Permaculture Group will host a plant and seedling swap on Wednesday 1 February from 1pm to 3pm.

These free sessions for swapping seeds, seedlings or cuttings from home gardens will be held on the first Wednesday of every month.

There is no need to book, just show up with some greenery, preferably plants for human consumption or bee food.

On Saturday 4 February there will be a session on Cooling your Home with Plants from 1-2pm.

Chris Day from Every Day Sustainable Living will give practical examples and design principles of using plants to shade and cool a home.

He has been growing food and actively participating in and teaching Permaculture and Sustainable living since early 2000, running workshops on sustainability all over the state.
