South coast residents have until Thursday 15 July to have input to the City of Victor Harbor’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy.
The strategy will outline future goals, plans and themes for enhancing artistic, cultural and heritage-related opportunities and experiences in the city.
The council recently consulted the community on its plans for a Victor Harbor Arts and Culture Centre.
It is now seeking feedback and a broader perspective on art, culture and heritage possibilities.
This could include consideration of creative activities and artefacts; cultural interactions relating to values, traditions, festivals, diversity and stories; built and natural environments; and history from both an Indigenous and settlement perspective.
To help prepare the strategy the council wants to understand the community's expectations, priorities and aspirations relating to arts, culture and heritage.
To have a say on this topic complete the online survey or collect a hard copy from the City of Victor Harbor Civic Centre on Bay Road.
There will be further opportunities for community feedback once the draft strategy has been developed.
