Whether you are a complete beginner to gardening or you'd like to find out how you can improve your current veggie garden, you can save yourself some money by growing from seed.

John Butler from Heirloom Harvest will teach all the tips and tricks of growing seedlings from seed at a free workshop on Sunday 27 October.

Organised by the Green South Group, in conjunction with the City of Onkaparinga and Sustainable Communities of SA, the workshop will show just how easy it is to grow seedlings from scratch.

It will be held at the Aldinga Community Centre at 7 Stewart Avenue Aldinga Beach, and will start promptly at 2.30pm followed by a light afternoon tea and time for questions.

The Green South Group is a volunteer community organisation sharing skills, stories and sustainability in southern Adelaide. 

The group recently received an environment grant from the City of Onkaparinga to run a series of free Plant Grow Harvest workshops for the community to attend.
