The 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards finalists have been revealed, shining the spotlight on some of the state’s best tourism operators.
Deep Creek’s Naiko Retreat is in the running for induction to the Tourism Awards Hall of Fame, after winning the Self-contained Accommodation Award in 2021 and 2022.
It is up against The Cedars Hahndorf, Bendleby Ranges and Woodhouse Adventure Park.
Supported by the state government through the South Australian Tourism Commission, the South Australian Tourism Awards are delivered annually by Tourism Industry Council South Australia (TiCSA) and recognise business excellence and outstanding achievement in the state’s tourism industry.
Spanning over 30 different categories, the 80 finalists represent a cross-section of the South Australian tourism industry including accommodation providers, tour operators, festivals & events and more.
Other Fleurieu and KI finalists include Kool Tours, Beach Huts Middleton, Old Coach Road Estate, Spirit Australia Cruises & Spirit of the Coorong, South Australian Wooden Boat Festival, Kangaroo Island Seaview Motel, Kangaroo Island Tourism Alliance, The Currant Shed and The Big Duck Boat Tours.
The winners and medallists in all categories will be officially announced at the 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner, on Friday 3 November, at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Shaun de Bruyn, Chief Executive Officer TiCSA, says the awards finalists have consistently demonstrated business excellence, innovation, and commitment to delivering quality customer experiences.
“As we celebrate their achievements, we also recognise the impact they have on shaping South Australia's reputation as a world-class destination.”
