Small businesses across the Fleurieu have been invited to help shape the future of small business in South Australia.

The newly created Office of Small & Family Business has called for opinions to help develop a small business strategy.

Brand-new businesses and seasoned operators alike are asked to tell what they need to be able to run their businesses better, what are the specific challenges impacting them and what would empower them to do better.

This is the most extensive state-wide survey of small businesses ever done. 

It covers a lot of ground, with the intention of understanding a wide range of experience, and creating change that will make a real difference to supporting business.

For those who are time-poor it is possible start, stop and return to complete the survey when ready.

It will take about 10 minutes to complete but the depth of answers will determine how long it takes.

The deadline to have a say is midnight on Friday 7 October.
