A man has been arrested after a motorbike was spotted speeding through the southern suburbs last night.
Just after 10.15pm on Tuesday 10 March, police saw a green motorbike travelling at high speed along Seacombe Road at Seacombe Gardens.
The motorbike was not pursued but police patrols kept observations on its movements until PolAir were in position to track it safely from the air.
The motorbike travelled at high speeds as it was tracked along Main South Road, Panalatinga Road and Pimpala Road before the rider stopped at Corvette Road, Seaford.
Police cordoned off the area and arrested the rider without incident.
Checks on the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle revealed that it had been stolen back in 2016.
A 41-year-old man from McLaren Flat was charged with a number of offences including theft of a motor vehicle, driving with unassigned plates, driving while disqualified, and driving at a speed and manner dangerous.
He has been refused bail and appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court late today.
