Work starts today, Monday 14 July on a level crossing pedestrian maze on East Terrace in Strathalbyn.

Alexandrina Council is project managing the works, which are an AusGov Infrastructure project.

The project aims to create a safer pedestrian crossing on the active train line on East Terrace.

It is expected to be completed in early August, weather permitting.

Traffic management will be in place throughout the project for vehicle and pedestrian safety, with a 25 km/h speed limit.
