Strikers hit the Fleurieu

The Adelaide Strikers Big Bash League franchise will offer holiday programs around this state this summer, including this week at Aldinga and Port Elliot.

The programs are for girls and boys aged five to 10, with the chance to play fun and fast games with friends in an outdoors, non-contact environment.

Kids can make their own backyard swing balls, learn about how healthy food choices can give them more energy when they’re playing, and colour their own Adelaide Strikers playing tops.

The Aldinga sessions will be held at the Aldinga Oval on Tuesday and Wednesday 5 & 6 January from 9.30am to 12 noon.

The south coast sessions will be at Port Elliot Oval on Wednesday and Thursday 6 & 7 January from 3.30-6pm.

Groups of around 12 kids will be coached by one of the South Australian Cricket Association’s enthusiastic and accredited coaches.

The cost is $55 and each child will receive a bonus participant pack, with a Cricket Blast backpack and tracker watch; Woolworths voucher; and Adelaide Strikers stickers.

Kids should take their owns bats if they have them, as well as a hat, drink bottle and a snack. Shared equipment will be available if required.

To take part register online.
