CFS crews were called to a structure fire at a residential property in Strathalbyn at around 2am on Saturday 24 February.

Approximately twenty-four CFS firefighters attended the scene with four fire trucks, one bulk water carrier and three command vehicles. Crews were supported by SA Police and SA Ambulance.

Firefighters arrived to find the shed, with two vehicles inside, engulfed by fire. They quickly extinguished the blaze and successfully prevented the fire from spreading to the house, or further through the property.

Two people were treated by SA Ambulance on scene.

No cause has been identified and Fire Investigators have been notified. Losses have been estimated at $100,000.
