Young people in the region are being asked to contribute ideas on what would be useful to learn in an upcoming How to Adult Workshop Series.

Alexandrina Council has created a survey to inform the upcoming workshops, aimed at Fleurieu young people aged 14 to 25 years.

Two sessions will be delivered locally later this year in partnership with Alexandrina Council and the District Council of Yankalilla under a program of the City of Onkaparinga.

‘How to Adult’ is a collection of free or low-cost, skill-building workshops that focus on real-life skills and topics important for young adults transitioning into independence.

Topics can include: practical life skills; employment services; financial literacy; study tips; navigating government systems; relationships; and healthy lifestyles.

Survey responses will help to inform planning of future youth programs and events in the region.
