Police are investigating a suspicious car fire at Hallett Cove early this morning.

About 3.45am this morning, emergency services were called to Marine Avenue after reports of a car fire.

MFS crews were quickly on scene and extinguished the blaze however the Toyota Hilux utility was completely destroyed.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit and are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or has information that may assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
