Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Seaford Rise which destroyed a car and a brush fence.

About 3.45am this morning (Tuesday 29 September), police and fire crews responded to a car fire at a Chiton Avenue home.

When patrols arrived, they found a Holden Barina on fire in the driveway and flames had spread to a nearby brush fence. Attending fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze.

Police believe that the fire was deliberately lit and are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the street to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
