Police are investigating an incident at Aldinga Beach where a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a home.

Just after 9.15pm on Monday 10 June police were called to a home on Atkinson Crescent after reports a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the property.

The fire spread to the two-storey home and caused extensive damage to the property.

Fire Cause Investigators will be attending the scene.

Police are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the street or has any other information that may assist the investigation, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
