Police are investigating after a fire destroyed a Christie Downs unit late last night.

About 11.30pm on Thursday 24 February, police and emergency services were called to Rufus Crescent at Christie Downs after reports of flames coming from a unit.

Fire crews worked hard to control the blaze however the vacant unit was destroyed.

Police fire techs attended the scene and deemed the fire to be suspicious, however the cause is undetermined.
