The next online author talk in series two of Southern Deadly Yarns will be Kooking with a Koori on Monday 28 June.

Mad Feedz is a viral sensation on TikTok, showing families that you don’t need to spend a fortune to feed a hungry household. 

Western Sydney dad Nathan Lyons regularly feeds his family of eight for just $8, and his #MadFeedz videos have attracted more than 97,000 followers. 

Kooking with a Koori is a collection of his best recipes and more Indigenous Australian soul foods that won’t break the bank. 

His aim is to get Aussies back into the kitchen making their own meals instead of grabbing fast food.

From sports stars to political experts and fresh literary faces, the series examines topics such as truth telling, recognition, and a what makes a good yarn.
