A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following reports of vehicles being tampered with at Sellicks Beach on Tuesday night.
Just after 10.30pm on 25 March, a witness reported seeing a group of youths checking car door handles along Jessedan Way.
Police responded and located a teenager from Seaford Rise in the area. He was arrested and charged with two counts of illegal interference and breach of bail.
The boy was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Christie Beach Youth Court today.
Police are asking residents in the area to check their vehicles and report any incidents of break-ins by calling the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.
