Onkaparinga Libraries is again holding its Wordfest writing and poetry competition for youth and adults to tell the story of the district in poetry or prose.

The theme is community, place and belonging relating to people or places within the City of Onkaparinga and is open to South Australian residents.

There are three categories: Flash Fiction for ages 18 and above; Poetry for ages 18 and above; and Youth - ages 12 to 17.

Each category has a 500 word limit and carries a prize of $100, which will be judged by Writers SA.

Winners will be announced and contacted by Onkaparinga Libraries in mid-January.
