Telstra mobile coverage will be patchy in and around Strathalbyn and at Vivonne Bay, on Kangaroo Island, next week while the telecommunications company upgrades its network.
The works will take place from Monday 3 March to Sunday 9 March and will require a series of temporary outages or reduction in mobile coverage in Strathalbyn and surrounding areas.
There will be intermittent Telstra mobile network coverage from these sites during this period.
Telstra mobile customers will receive text messages advising of the upcoming work.
Landline services, NBN internet services and mobile coverage from other providers will not be impacted.
Any calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will be automatically diverted to any working mobile network for connection to emergency services.

Anyone who continues to experience concerns after the outage period should report faults through 132 200 Telstra Faults.
Businesses experiencing EFTPOS issues should contact their bank for assistance. Wi-Fi Calling may be available for Telstra customers with compatible devices.
