A sweet tradition returns to McLaren Vale tonight, Wednesday 14 December, with the annual McLaren Vale Country Fire Service lolly run.
The brigade will hit the streets for its annual lolly run around the Vale from 6.30 pm.
Listen for the sirens and watch for the fire trucks with many jolly firefighters on board to wish the community a Merry Christmas.
This year the CFS will be joined by the Lions Club of McLaren Districts, which has donated funds for extra lollies.
They will also sell their famous Christmas cakes to extend the seasonal tradition at the final stop, at the McLaren Flat Recreation Ground.
At the final stop, Santa will make a special appearance and there will be a barbecue with snags to purchase.
