The sun has finally shown its face just in time for the rescheduled Port Elliot agricultural show next weekend, Saturday and Sunday 11 and 12 November.
The month delay was caused by saturation of the showgrounds, reduced to a rice paddy by heavy rains throughout winter and early spring.
Appetites have been whetted for all the usual show fun, including horses in action, floral art, craft, produce, baking, sheep, photography and so much more.
Activities for the whole family include roving entertainers, live music, McDonalds Animal Farm, Reptile Tent, performing horses and pony rides.
Gates open Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm for the 142nd iteration of the famous south coast show.
Entry costs $12 adults, $20 weekend pass, $8 concession, $5 children ages 8 to 16, free for children aged 7 and under. Full details on the Port Elliot Show website.
