A man was arrested after allegedly stealing from a construction site at Port Noarlunga overnight.
Police were called to the house under construction in Serenity Rise, Port Noarlunga just before 1am on Thursday 14 July by reports of suspicious behaviour.
A car was seen leaving the street loaded with property.
Police tracked the vehicle to a Hackham West address and spoke to the driver.
It will be alleged that 21 boxes of floor tiles were found in the vehicle. The floor tiles were identical to ones from the Port Noarlunga property.
The 31-year-old Goolwa Beach man was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass and two counts of theft after officers also found doors and windows, suspected of being stolen from another construction site, at the house.
He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 15 August.
