Three arrested after business break investigation

Three men have been charged following a break in at a Morphett Vale business in June.


Sometime between Friday 9 and Tuesday 13 June the business on Boulder Street was broken in to and a white 2018 Hyundai iLoad van, and a white 2021 Hyundai Staria Load van, were stolen, along with thousands of dollars' worth of tools.


About 9.45pm on Thursday 27 July police conducted a traffic stop on Bowering Hill Road, Port Willunga, where they spoke to the driver, a 37-year-old Myponga man. He was arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and illegal use.


He was refused bail and appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Friday 28 July.


On Saturday 29 July, following an investigation, police attended an address on Calum Grove, Seacombe Heights, and arrested a 21-year-old man. He has been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and illegal use.


He was bailed to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 11 September 2023.


About 5.30am Sunday 30 July, following an investigation, police located a 48-year-old man on Sapphire Way, Aldinga Beach, and placed him under arrest. He has been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and illegal use.


He was refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday 31 July.
