Three teenagers have been arrested in alleged stolen car at Christies Beach this morning.

Just before 3am Friday 3 June police and MFS were called to Davis Avenue home after reports a Mitsubishi SUV had crashed into a front verandah and caught fire.

The occupants of the car were seen by witnesses to run off.

MFS quickly extinguished the fire before it could spread to the property. The vehicle caused minor damage to the verandah.

Luckily no one was injured.

Enquiries showed the SUV had been stolen overnight from Christies Beach.

Patrols searched the area and quickly arrested three teenagers.

A 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy from Morphett Vale and a 15-year-old girl from Christies Beach are currently being interviewed by police and will be charged later this morning.
