The Premier’s Certificate of Recognition awards outstanding volunteer service and nominations are now open.

Any South Australian-based volunteer organisations and community groups can nominate

a candidate.

The candidate must have significantly contributed to the community through their ongoing

commitment and dedication to volunteering, as well as demonstrating leadership and promoting volunteering within the community.

The nomination form and guidelines can be accessed online.

Nominations close on 5pm, Friday 26 March.

Finnis MP David Basham says it is important for the community to recognise peers who work so hard, not for monetary gain, but out of a love for the community.

“This award can provide an acknowledgement to work that would previously be left unrecognised.”

“Significant achievements and excellence from members of our community are in abundance and I look forward to seeing deserving people nominated for this award.”
