The City of Victor Harbor is calling for local community groups, businesses and performers to get involved its upcoming street party. 

The party will be held on Friday 2 December to celebrate the re-opening of Ocean Street and Albert Place after their recent upgrade.

The works saw completion of Stage 4 of the Mainstreet Upgrade, designed to revitalise and connect key destinations within the town.

The southern end of Ocean Street was closed for almost five months to facilitate the upgrade.

Described as Victor Harbor’s biggest street party ever, the festivities will take place from 4pm to 8pm.

The council plans to include roving performers, DJs and live music, arts workshops and market stalls.

It will be a free event, with no fees for local groups or Mainstreet businesses to be involved.
