Rock‘n’rollers rejoice, for there will be dancing on Friday 24 July at the second Wine Coast rock party.
Organiser Jacquie Treagus says it will be a fun night of dancing and socialising and it doesn’t matter if dancers have never had a lesson.
She will teach and lead a simple progressive jive and will also teach the ‘Fireball’ and 'The Stroll' line dance routines sometime in the evening for those who would like to learn them.
“Come and enjoy the tunes, a drink or two at the bar, mingle with friends and meet new ones, have a chance to win some great prizes and perhaps even learn a step or two. It’s all about having fun.”
She says there will be fantastic door prizes to be won from Just Smart Kitchenware & Fork in the Road Wines.
The party will be at the McLaren Vale Function Centre, Corner Main Rd & Caffrey Street, which Jacquie says is the best venue with the best dance floor surface in town.
It starts at 7pm and the bar will be open; feel free to take a supper plate to share.
Tickets are limited to 75 people and cost $12; book via Eventbrite.
