With the arrival of spring it’s time to think about planting tomatoes and Aldinga library will host a session on how to grow them at home.

Sustainable Onkaparinga in conjunction with Onkaparinga Libraries has organised for Sam from Folk of All Trades to provide tips and tricks to growing delicious tomatoes that will be ready to pick this summer.

This interactive presentation will cover where to locate tomato plants, how to identify and prepare the soil, how and what type of tomatoes to plant (bush or climbing), and caring for your tomatoes until harvest.

The workshop will be held next Saturday 24 September from 10.30am to 11.30am. 

The cost is $10 per person, which includes a tomato seedling to take home. Book via Eventbrite.
