Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism will hold its annual regional tourism forum at the Victor Harbor Convention Centre on Tuesday 30 August.
The theme of this year’s Fleurieu Forum focuses on developing and springboarding regional tourism opportunities.
The one-day conference aims to find new opportunities for business growth and succession.
Keynote speakers will lead discussions on current topics, networking, and business development opportunities.
They will include Erik De Roos, Director of Marketing at the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC), with an update on its marketing campaigns and strategies.
Lily Hoffman, Social Media and Content Manager with the SATC, will cover content creation and social media.
Sophie Treasure, SA Industry Manager at Tourism Australia, will discuss the importance of sustainable and responsible travel.
Co-founder of the Lot 100 collective in the Adelaide Hills Toby Kline will speak about the importance of environmental, social, and governance across a business.
Key topics in the Fleurieu Forum will also cover:
· Health, Wellbeing & Resilience Tools developed by the team at Be Well Co, an offshoot of SAHMRI.
· The importance of the Customer Experience in Tourism with Jaclyn Thorn of McGregor Tan Research.
· Finance & Business Succession & Wine Industry Snapshot with Tim Siebert from Bentleys.
· The regional workforce with Regional Development Australia.
The full-day conference program includes refreshments and a post conference networking event held at the Convention Centre.
