Hills Community Transport (HCT) has put out a call to anyone who might want to volunteer and get behind the wheel to bridge the mobility gap for Strathalbyn  residents. 

HCT is a service that provides local transport options for eligible recipients in the Strathalbyn, Mount Barker and Adelaide Hills regions. 

It is looking for volunteer drivers for a new community transport vehicle based in Strathalbyn. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the local community, as well as meeting new people and have fun along the way.

Volunteers need to be reliable drivers with a valid driver’s licence, a passion for helping others, and availability on weekdays.

HCT services a variety of needs from transporting people to appointments and essential activities to helping seniors get shops. Training is provided.
