Jonquil ‘Jonny’ Tisdall will discuss her memoir Wheels Across a Continent at the Victor Harbor library tomorrow, Friday 11 June.
Her book gives a humorous take on 27 years of motor homing in Australia.
Jonny and her husband Dave shocked the kids and family when they sold their house, gave up their jobs, and took to the road full time.
Picking strawberries, packing tomatoes and prospecting for gold took them to outback places that a lot of tourists might never see.
They have witnessed the sublime to the ridiculous and they have seen awe-inspiring views across this great land, which inspired Jonny to present it all in a book.
This free event starts at 1.30pm, with books available for cash purchase and signing.
Booking is essential via Eventbrite. The audience is asked to arrive 10 minutes early.
