The City of Victor Harbor has released three new projects for community consultation.
It wants views and feedback on its Investment Attraction Strategy; Biodiversity and Natural Assets Management Plan; and its Sport, Recreation and Open Space Strategy.
The council says the Victor Harbor Investment Strategy will play an essential part in identifying likely investment, targets, impediments and pathways for business and workforce attraction.
It is intended to grow the city's employment base and further economic opportunities.
The draft strategy has been developed as a collaboration between the council, Business Victor Harbor and key stakeholders.

With contributions from a range of environmental volunteers and key stakeholders, the City of Victor Harbor has developed a draft Biodiversity and Natural Assets Plan 2023-28.
The draft plan outlines the council’s commitment to protecting and enhancing the region’s natural beauty.
Focusing primarily on the management of vegetation and habitats, it will guide the council towards safeguarding these vital environmental elements for future generations.

The Victor Harbor Sport, Recreation and Open Space Strategy aims to assist the council to plan for, maintain and activate its open spaces and recreation facilities.
The draft strategy has been prepared based on what the council heard from the community through various consultations along with other investigations, including a needs analysis and audits of 142 open spaces in the council area.

The deadline to submit feedback on any or all of the three projects is 5pm Friday 23 June.
