It’s almost time for the annual Club Marine Coast 2 Coast tuna tournament, to be held on the south coast from 5-7 February.

It will start with registration and a briefing session from 2pm on Friday 5 February at Victor Harbor Harness Racing Club, Lipizzaner Drive Hindmarsh Valley.

Teams will then head out fishing in their boats on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February, with weigh-ins at the club on Saturday to 7pm and Sunday to 3pm.

The prize presentation will take place on Sunday from 4pm.

Organiser Sarah Powell says the majority of sponsors are local and she encourages everyone to show support in return.

“Looks like it's once again going to be an amazing tournament with 38 businesses getting behind this event providing over $25K of prizes!” 

Entry cost $50 per person, with camping available to visitors at $10pp per night.

Coffee will be available at the Victor Harbor boat ramp from 5am to 7am for the weekend of the tournament - thanks to Thomas from The Brew Box.
