Update: Driver charged over Aldinga fatal crash

A driver has been arrested following a fatal crash at Aldinga last month.

Just after 4.30pm on Tuesday 28 May, emergency services were called to the intersection of Main South Road and Malpas Road after reports of a crash involving a Honda CRV and Kawasaki motorcycle.

The rider, a 21-year-old man from Aldinga Beach, was taken to hospital in a critical condition but sadly died on Thursday 30 May.

The Honda driver, a 26-year-old woman from Clovelly Park, was uninjured in the crash.

Today, Major Crash Investigators arrested the Clovelly Park woman and charged her with causing death by careless driving. She was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 28 August.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam footage, or who may have been travelling on Main South Road around the time of the crash and saw the green Kawasaki motorbike travelling south is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

You can anonymously provide information to Crime Stoppers online or free call 1800 333 000.
