Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash at Huntfield Heights this afternoon.

About 4.50pm on Friday 28 June, emergency services were called to Southern Expressway after reports of a multiple car crash.

The driver of a green Ford Falcon, a 58-year-old man from Christies Beach, died at the scene.

The drivers of three cars and a truck, all involved in the crash, were taken to hospital where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Southbound traffic on Southern Expressway and northbound traffic on Main South Road at Huntfield Heights remains closed whilst Major Crash officers examine the scene.

The man’s death is the 44th Live Lost on South Australian roads this year.
