A young woman has died following a crash at Victor Harbor this week.
About 1.20pm Tuesday 24 November emergency services were called to Armstrong Road (the Ring Road) after a Mitsubishi sedan that had been travelling north and a Toyota ute that had been travelling south collided head on.
Both drivers were taken to the South Coast District Hospital before the driver of the sedan, an 18-year-old Victor Harbor woman, was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition. The driver of the ute, a 47-year-old Normanville woman is in a stable condition.
Sadly, yesterday, Friday 27 November, the 18-year-old woman died from injuries sustained.
The young woman’s death is the 81st live lost on SA roads this year, compared to 101 at the same time last year.
