Update: Serious crash Hindmarsh Valley

Police are investigating a serious two car crash at Hindmarsh Valley yesterday, Sunday 1 October.


Just before 4pm, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Victor Harbor Road and Bambrick Road after reports a Tarago van and a Hyundai SUV collided.


The driver of the Hyundai, a 67-year-old woman from Glenelg East, was air-lifted to Flinders Medical Centre where she is being treated for critical injuries.


The driver of the Tarago, a 30-year-old man, and two passengers, a 36-year-old woman and a 31-year-old woman all from Goolwa, were taken by SAAS to Flinders Medical Centre where they are being treated for serious injuries.


Victor Harbor Road was closed to all traffic between Waterport Road and Hindmarsh Tiers Road however the road has since reopened.
