Update: Wild weather means the show goes on - inside

Forecast wild weather has sent the Victor Harbor Rock N Roll Festival indoors this Sunday 18 September and the Artisan market scheduled for that day has been cancelled.

The musical entertainment will relocate from Warland Reserve to the Hotel Victor function space across the road.

Sunday’s severe weather warning is likely to bring damaging winds and rain to the south coast.

The City of Victor Harbor has decided to change the venue in the interest of safety and enjoyment of festival patrons.

The Historic Motor Vehicles Club will still display its vehicles on Albert Place and Warland Reserve throughout the day.

All evening entertainment at venues around town will continue as planned.

The following road closures will be in place to facilitate the vehicle display:

  • Albert Place from Railway Terrace to the Esplanade from 7am to 6pm
  • Albert Place from Crozier Road to the Esplanade (south bound lane only) from 7am to 6pm
  • Rolling closure at Flinders Parade and The Esplanade between 10am and 11am to facilitate vehicle cruise arrival

The next Artisan market will be held in Railway Parade on the public holiday on Monday 3 October.

The full program for the Victor Harbor Rock N Roll Festival is available online.
