It also won the trophies for champion large brewery and champion porter or stout.
Swell Brewing Company took out the trophy for champion reduced alcohol beer, for its Small Swell.
The Royal Adelaide Beer & Cider Awards is open to beer and cider producers from Australia and New Zealand and 2021 saw almost 300 entries.
It was a consistent performance for Fleurieu breweries across the awards, which were judged during June.
Vale Brewing was awarded six gold medals, three for its pale ales and three for its stouts, as well as nine silver and six bronze medals.
Swell Brewing was awarded one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
Myponga’s Smiling Samoyed brewery also did well, awarded six silver and four bronze medals.
Chief judge Stephen Nelson says the 2021 awards show a bouncing back season with record-setting numbers.
“Testament to the tremendous growth in variety, enthusiasm, and sheer tenacity of producers this year.”
Three cider trophies were also awarded. Full details of all Royal Adelaide Beer & Cider Awards are on the website.
