Police are investigating a car fire at Kuitpo that spread to trees overnight.

Emergency services were called to Brookman Road, Kuitpo just before 12.30am on Saturday 27 July by reports of a car fire.

The white Ford Transit van was well alight when crews arrived, with the flames also igniting trees.

CFS crews extinguished the blaze.

Inquiries are continuing to contact the registered owner of the van.

Crime scene investigators will attend the scene this morning.
