A high range drink driver was caught at Victor Harbor last night.

About 11.30pm Friday 6 January police stopped a car travelling on Hindmarsh Road to breath test the driver.

The driver, a 62-year-old local woman, allegedly returned a positive result of 0.212. she was reported for drink driving and lost her licence on the spot for 12 months.

Her car was impounded for 28 days and she will be summonsed to the Victor Harbor Magistrates Court at a later date.
