Reigning premier Victor Harbor got their premiership defence off to a winning start after defeating Goolwa 44-39 during round 1 action in the Great Southern Netball Association (GSNA) at Victor Harbor yesterday. In other games, Langhorne Creek travelled to Mt Compass and came away with a 46-31 victory, Myponga had a comfortable 56-33 win over McLaren Vale, Yankalilla had a 58-41 win at Strathalbyn, while Encounter Bay had a tight 48-45 victory at Willunga.
