First Semi Final - Goolwa v McLaren Vale

Goolwa has ended McLaren Vale’s season with a 54-44 win in the knockout semi-final at Strathalbyn. The win puts Goolwa into Saturday’s Preliminary Final against Willunga. Goolwa entered the game in good form having won six of their past seven games dating back to round 11. McLaren Vale had also been in good recent form winning four of their past five and boasted an eight-goal victory over Goolwa back in round 10 however the Magpies turned the tables on Saturday and are just one win away from the Grand Final.

Second Semi Final - Victor Harbor v Willunga

Victor Harbor has won through to yet another Grand Final after defeating Willunga 47-35 in the double chance semi-final at Strathalbyn. Victor are undefeated again this season and are odds-on to win another League flag. Willunga will now face off against Goolwa in the Preliminary Final at Encounter Bay to try and advance to the Grand Final on September 14 at McLaren Vale.
