Victor Harbor Road has been reopened following a serious crash at McLaren Vale this afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to a head-on crash involving a taxi and Mazda sedan on the Victor Harbor Road near Main Road about 2pm today (1 June).
The driver of the Mazda, a 42-year-old Encounter Bay woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries while a four-year-old girl in the car sustained serious injuries.
The taxi driver, a 68-year-old man from Seaford sustained non-life threatening injuries while his passenger, a 69-year-old woman from Willunga sustained critical injuries.
All four injured parties were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre by road and air for treatment.
Victor Harbor Road was closed to all traffic between Main Road and Budgens Road for several hours while Major Crash Investigators examined the crash scene.

Police and paramedics were called to a head-on crash involving two cars on the Victor Harbor Road near Main Road about 2pm today (1 June).
Four people were injured in the crash and a Medstar helicopter is attending the scene.
Victor Harbor Road is closed to all traffic between Main Road and Budgens Road, and traffic will be diverted into the McLaren Vale township.
Major Crash Investigators are attending the scene.
Police have asked motorists to try to avoid the area or expect lengthy delays.
