This January, Victor Harbor transforms into a hub of creativity, fun, and community spirit as the Twilight Victor Harbor Artisan Markets take center stage. Every Saturday from 1pm to 7pm, Railway Terrace becomes a vibrant scene of handmade treasures, gourmet treats, live entertainment, and a splash of artistic flair, promising locals and visitors alike a memorable summer evening experience.
Wander through a diverse array of stalls featuring bespoke jewellery, unique homewares and delicious food, all while enjoying live music that adds a festive vibe. From families to couples or groups of friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, the markets are a fantastic way to support talented local artisans and small businesses while taking home one-of-a-kind finds.
This January, the Artisan Markets are taking art to the next level with their VHAM Arts Initiative. Artists are invited to paint, draw, and create alfresco on the lawns, showcasing their skills and engaging directly with the public. Whether you’re an artist looking to join the fun or an admirer eager to watch creativity in action, this initiative adds a new layer of vibrancy to the market scene.
The markets coincide with the renowned Rotary Art Show on Warland Reserve, running from January 11 to January 18. It’s a perfect pairing, allowing visitors to dive into a double dose of artistry and culture in one delightful visit.
Sip and relax in the wine garden
The Langhorne Creek Wine Region Co. brings a taste of the vineyards to Railway Plaza with their Wine Garden retreat. Each Saturday features a different Langhorne Creek winery, inviting visitors to sit back, relax, and savour a glass of wine amidst the bustling market atmosphere:
