Selected works from the City of Onkaparinga Art Collection will be on show at Stump Hill Gallery from Friday 21 June.

The exhibition title - Fields of McLaren Vale - comes from the 2009 painting by John Hamilton.

The work captures a familiar scene outside the township, of rolling hills and agricultural setting.

Other works in the exhibition capture familiar scenes of McLaren Vale and the surrounding area, with its unique landscape of and sea.

The City of Onkaparinga’s Art Collection features many local artists who have celebrated the history and culture of the community.

The gallery is at McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre, on Main Road, and is open 9am to 5pm. The exhibition runs until Sunday 28 July.
